New Life at the Juvenile Justice Center

God continues to use True Freedom’s chaplains to speak life to the spiritually dead. A 16-year-old at the Juvenile Justice Center was angry because his father died in his sleep of a heart attack at the age of 47. Two weeks later, his 19-year-old brother was shot in the chest and died on the streets of East Cleveland.

This young man had been a good student in school, but he reacted to these devastating tragedies with violence and vandalism and ultimately into joining a gang. He already knew the Lord as his Savior. He said jail helped him to get back on track with the Lord, education, and future dreams. Praise the Lord for granting repentance to a wandering sheep. Our God is a faithful shepherd.
