Swiger receives Volunteer of the Year Award

True Freedom’s Executive Director, Mike Swiger received the Volunteer of the Year Award at Grafton Correctional Institution and Grafton Reintegration Center.

This is quite an honor as there are hundreds of volunteers that work in these two institutions. Mike works countless hours to prepare inmates for reentry through evangelism, discipleship, mentorship, and pre-release education. “This award really belongs to the staff and volunteers who I have the privilege to represent,” Swiger said. “I am humbled by this honor.” Mike is True Freedom’s visionary, tirelessly leading us to become the thriving organization we are today, by God’s grace. We praise the Lord for Mike Swiger who serves from a heart of true love for the Lord Jesus Christ and for every one of our clients. What a gift from the Lord he is!
